The Santa Clara Kickboxing program is two days per week, Wednesday evening 7:30 to 9:00 PM and Saturday morning from 8:30 to 10:30 AM.  Dates and times may also be found on the schedule page.
 
Students may enroll in the Kicboxing only or attend the class as part of the total Santa Clara Kenpo Karate integrated martial arts program.  We highly recommend that a student pursue an integrated program in order to develop a broad range of skill sets.
Striking skills are developed through a combination of boxing, kicboxing and Muay Thai drills over close, medium
and long range.  Drills emphasize:
 
  Defensive Manuvers
  Footwork (Boxing )
  Hand strike combinations (Boxing)
  Elbow & Knee Striking Combinations
  Kicking - Low / Medium / High
 
The class training structure will consist of:
  Warm up drills
  Stretching
  Conditioning
  Basics
  Skill Set Combinations
  Sparring (Kickboxing) - Boxing gear used as displayed
